In just under 3 weeks, my friend Katie will be marrying her very own Prince Charming!
I think an event like that deserves a little celebration, don't you?
So celebrate we did...
Katie and I headed out for a fun and relaxing girls day complete with manicures and pedicures on
Newbury Street (Boston)
the bride-to-be catching up on wedding magazines
how cute is it that she found a polish called "chapel of love"?
We stopped off for a nice light lunch at a Wine Cafe...
Oh and we must not forget rounding out the day any proper Chocoholic (Katie, that is...give me vanilla any day) should...with a chocolate bar at the Langham Hotel.
And oh.my.goodness.....if you are ever in Boston on a Saturday and are looking for something to do, make sure you check this out. It is SO worth it! More desserts than you could ever imagine...a sweet tooth's dream come true!
You name it, they had it. Chocolate Five Spice soup, a crepes station, a chocolate fountain, a chocolate cocktails station, chocolate pasta, chocolate pizza, delicate treats as far as the eye can see....even a vanilla girl like me can appreciate it ;-)
I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my friend's upcoming nuptials!
Now once I get over this sugar coma I am going to get to talking about my plans for Week in the Life!
Ta,Ta lovely ones!
p.s. it is Teacher Appreciation Week! If you can, send a little love to a teacher you know who has made a difference...a kind word or two goes a long way in refueling those who invest so much in children!

what a fun day for you and your friend!
i'm curious about Week in the Life... you'll have to tell me about it.
What a fun day!
And we didn't forget the Teacher's this week, Thursday the kids bring in flowers for all their teachers - classroom, music, art, etc.
How exciting! I love weddings :-) And also chocolate :-)
I never heard of Teacher Appreciation Week, I guess we don't have it over here. We SHOULD!! (And I'd be saying that even if I wasn't a teacher!!)
This looks like the perfect day for me. Begins with a mani/pedi and ends with chocolate! Lovely!
What a wonderful day!! So exciting for the bride-to-be. 'Chapel of Love' was my first ever OPI nail polish! Love them. Hope you enjoyed Teacher Appreciation Week!
